A Crouch Tree Services as part of their tree work specialise in Utility Arboriculture. This is when tree work is carried out in the vicinity of overhead electric lines. It is important for the continuity of supply and health and safety that all trees and vegetation are kept away from the overhead cables.We are fully qualified in all aspects of tree work and forestry services to undertake this service. Our service includes where necessary tree removal and tree stump removal.

Depending upon the amount of power running through a conductor there is a requirement to keep trees away from the vicinity zones which varies from 2m to 4 m depending upon the voltage. Our tree work knowledge and experience ensures that this is maintained in a professional manner in line with health and Safety guidelines.

A Crouch Tree services are currently working closely with Tilhill Forestry and Central Networks to ensure that tree work within this area is conducted safely. To achieve this all our men are NPTC qualified in the use of chainsaws, climbing and aerial rescue. Alongside this they have achieved utility arb qualifications ranging from risk assessment of trees that are near the overhead powerlines to the use of insulated tools for tree removal, tree stump removal and the correct procedures of climbing near the line.

We also have our own specialist surveying team that is responsible for undertaking the initial survey, permission and assessment of the work that is required to achieve the correct Health & Safety specifications.

Private Tree Work Contracts

We undertake all aspects of private tree work and liaise with local tree officers in dealing with Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation areas and sites of special interest to ensure all work is undertaken correctly. From tree stump grinding and tree stump removal to complete site clearance. We specialize in working on sites that are designated of special interest and can give advice on all aspects of tree health. Whether it be a Leylandi hedge that requires a prune or Estate Management we can offer an excellent standard of service.
